Vocational Services
Progress Industries offers a variety of vocational services to assist individuals with disabilities in becoming work ready, trained and prepared to enter the work world. Employees who are ready for the independent work environment are matched to available employment opportunities. Follow-up support services are provided to ensure customer service satisfaction. Our highly trained and qualified staff works with hundreds of employers in multiple counties meeting employment needs and matching the right person for the right job. We have served the area and its workers since 1954. Programs are CARF Accredited and must maintain the highest quality and outcome measures.


Job Coaching
Job Coaching provides one-on-one support at the job site to ensure all job tasks are clearly understood and any adaptations are in place to make certain the individual is provided all tools necessary to meet with success. The Job Coach will then arrange a schedule to fade assistance as the individual learns the job skills and is meeting the employer expectations.


Job Placement
Job Placement services provides assistance to individuals in resume writing, interviewing skills, appropriate work apparel and other tools for successful employment. The job search is directed as a team effort providing job leads and staff to help eliminate barriers to finding successful competitive employment.


Supported Employment
Supported Employment offers continued assistance to individuals in locating and maintaining competitive employment. Once an individual is placed with a job, the staff continues to support the individual and the employer to ensure success. Staff stays involved, offering support to the employer and employee until further assistance is not warranted.


Work Adjustment
Work Adjustment is designed to evaluate one’s strengths, abilities, desires and work behaviors to determine job readiness, remove barriers and build a plan for success. Time limited and used as a tool in the planning process, Work Adjustment provides information to assist the client in making career choices that best meet their individual needs.


Computer Training
Progress Industries offers classes to assists individuals with core courses in computer training and office procedures. Classes are available in keyboarding, introduction to computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office Procedures. Classes are small and paced to suit each individual.
